At X-Y Tool & Die, Inc., we build world class thermoforming molds and trim tools from customer designs. Having designed and built tools for many years, we understand customer’s needs. The majority of tools we build are plug-assist and run in ITS, Irwin, Lyle or Brown presses. We make mold cavities and assist plugs for all types of materials as well as repair and modify tools. Our match metal trim tools have jig ground trim profiles and locating features to ensure the accuracy you need for everything from tight tolerance punch to die clearances. We can make single or multiple out die plates. After our trim tools are assembled they are always installed in our die handler for tryout.
